I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and board approved Supervisor in private practice since 2012. I was a staff therapist at The Austin Child Guidance Center, from 2009-2016.  In the past I've worked for Communities in Schools (CIS) providing therapy for teens relocated after Hurricane Katrina; LifeWorks co-facilitating groups and treating individuals and families; Austin Children’s Shelter coordinating activities; and CASA of Travis County as a Guardian Ad Litem. I've also provided intensive wilderness therapy at the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center and for the Minnesota  Department of Corrections.  I received my MA in Professional Counseling from Texas State University in 2006 and my BS degree in RTF (film production)  from The University of Texas at Austin in 1998.

I'm the mother of two children, whom I stayed home with beginning in 2007 for 1043 long days (3 very short years).  These days, when I'm not doing therapy or spending time with my family, I'm usually enjoying music, podcasts, movies, books, diving, aviation, and enjoying the local comedy scene.
